Ingredients:
*1 can chickpeas $1.00
*2 tbsp oil
*1 tsp paprika
*1/2 tsp ginger
*1 tsp mild curry powder
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 170C.
2. Create spice mix.
3. Rinse and drain chickpeas, coat in spice mix (I put it all in a bowl).
4. Place on a tray and bake for 40-60 minutes, or until hard and crunchy (good excuse to snack while waiting).
Total: $1.00.
I've never roasted chickpeas before but I really like them and the spices you have one them. Think I'm going to need to make these.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes indulge in a pack of these from the Indian supermarket, but I'll try this recipe out next time the oven is on:)
